So for the last week I have been taking part in the Summer Wrap-up read-a-thon which was hosted by Inbetween Writing and Reading and Some Like it Paranormal. This was my first read-a-thon and I really wasn't sure what to expect unfortunately I really didn't make as much of a dent into my reading pile as I would of liked due to work and normal life getting in the way. I managed to finished two books and start another.
Books read: My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent. Kiss Love Date Hate by Luisa Plaja and 115 pages of Endless Summer by Jennifer Echols
Total pages: 672
Overall I enjoyed the read-a-thon but definitely found it very hard to fit in a lot of reading especially with my job and having busy evenings and weekends, however I haven't been put off by participating in a read-a-thon and I will be looking out for the next one. I might just have a little more realistic expectations for myself next time!
